Join Actin AS on an unforgettable 5 days trip with boat from Ålesund to an area which has inspired mountaineers and celebrities for more than a hundred years! Explore the powerful Sunnmøre Alps on foot, and come close to nature with a kayak in the Hjørundfjord.
The hiking and paddling tour will start in Ålesund town centre Monday at 9 am. From Ålesund we start sailing to Barstadvika by boat, which is the starting point for the hiking. If desired, we can make a stop at Solevågen to pick up people.
During the 5 days tour, you will be hiking some of the most popular peaks in the Sunnmøre Alps, with the mountain Slogen (1564 m.a.s.l) as a natural highlight. After 5 days hiking and paddling around the whole Hjørundfjord, you will end up in Hundeidvik where a boat will transport you on the return to Ålesund. Estimated time of arrival in Ålesund will be on Friday at 7pm.
Accommodation will be at hotel, cabins and Tourist Association mountain cabins, and there will be served 3 daily meals. Paddling by kayak will be in the Hjørundfjord area, and you will always be accompanied with a local guide and a boat (with your luggage). Each person will have their own kayak, but two person kayak will also be available if preferable.
The tour is available for individuals or you may book a whole group. Group size from 8 – 15 pax. Price per person is NOK 7500,- included accommodation, 3 meals a day, local guide, individual kayak and boat transport to/from Hjørundfjord - Ålesund.
From Hundeidvika there will be a boat transport, eventually via Solevågen, back to Ålesund. Estimated return at 7 p.m. Welcome!
