A common fishing permit has been issued for Tafjordfjell that covers almost all lakes and rivers in the about 150 km2 large area. The lakes and rivers in the high mountain areas in the northeast are covered by the fishing permit for Crown property.

Please note that the following lakes are not covered by the permit: Heimste Rødalsvatn, Fremste Rødalsvatn and Onilsavatnet.

A well developed network of trails and several DNT cabins with beds and food make this area a delight to stay in.
