Strandafjellet is an attractive and exciting ski centre with six ski lifts, and is perhaps one of Norway’s hidden pearls. The mountains in Sunnmøre are also known as the Sunnmøre Alps, and for good reason with steep mountain sides that dive straight into the fjord. In the midst of these lies Strandafjellet, not too steep and not too flat.

Stordal

Arena Overøye - cross-country skiing

At wintertime, the offers are many in Stordal. The Langsæter area is popular for the whole family and the sports organization Stordal IL is responsible for making the ski slopes. Climbing on high peaks, ice fishing and similar have also become very popular in this beautiful recreation area.
