Week 7, 2010, Norrøna Magazine visited the Hjørundfjord and the Sunnmøre Alps to photograph and write for their September edition.

The feedback was released on the Norrøna blog shortly after, and was all positive:
"[...] experienced five unique powder days in the Sunnmøre Alps.[...] stayed at Hotel Sagafjord in the small village of Sæbø deep in the Hjørund fiord - with the boat "Vikaskjær" and a number of magic mountains at their disposal every morning [...] Big thanks to Destination Ålesund-Sunnmøre, Actin, Hotel Sagafjord, Ørsta Skisenter and the lodge Rekkedal gjestehus for great hospitality and friendliness!"
When the edition was released, the editor was apparently impressed:
