Gunnabuda in Longva north of Ålesund offers different activities, among others sea cayaking and trips with the viking ship replica "Langvin". Gunnabuda is also a good starting point for trekking and for bike tours in a spectacular landscape close to the open sea.

In the summer, you can also take a bath on the small beach at Gunnabuda or you can go to the spectacular beach "Sandvika" on the north side of the island.

Sea kayaking
Gunnabuda offers different courses in sea kayaking (2-days basic course in addition to several shourter courses). Guests can also come along on guided tours, and experienced paddlers may rent kayaks and the necessary equipment.

Viking activities
You can come along on the viking ship "Langvin" for a trip on the fjord. Groups can also try the "viking package" where you in addition can try archery and the old viking game "kubb" – and over open fire you can make your own viking bread after a reconstructed recipe.

Biking
The Nordøyane islands are ideal for bike trips on flat roads in a spectacular landscape close to the open sea. Gunnabuda offers bikes (with helmets) for rent.
